Quinten,
It was a mistake to build your ribs over the plans drawn ribs. A standard
rule in dealing with drawings is "Never Scale From the Print." That is, never
assume the printed for on the part is accurate. Typical bond paper on which
most plans sets are printed can change 10% or more in size with changes in
humidity. If you had an accurately drawn rib template on mylar, you could use
that
to produce your parts. The key thing to do is measure the template prior to
using it and make sure it is dimensionally correct.
