Has anyone installed a heat tri-box and heat muff from Aircraft Spruce? Wanted to bring some heat into the cockpit. I have the Rotax 912S installed. The diameter of the exh pipes are 1.25" but notice that the heat muff from A/S will only fit down to 1.75". I'm sure I can build up the gap with shim material. Any thoughts or ideas? I have a simple valve in the firewall behind them for this purpose. Sonja www.caro-engineering.com On Tue, Apr 1, 2014 at 12:50 AM, Chillyz wrote: > > Currently working in the cockpit area. It is very simple to build, and there is no headache with the very limited space available around the exhaust or in the cowls. It doesn't take up any space in the engine compartment at all and will cost you a fraction!! Regards, Matt. -------- Pulsar 1 TD Kit. Captain B777. Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
