If not, I can work from mine but it takes more work. Where did you have yours done? Thanks, Tom From: Ron Koval Sent: Monday, May 05, 2014 10:00 AM Subject: Pulsar-List: Re: [Pulsar-Aviators] Nose gear failure Having done modification last year, I still have about 7 inches left over (you only need about 3-1/2") from the Aircraft Spruce purchase of 4130 STEEL TUBE 1X.188 1FT Part #: 03-06800-1 to make this modification (along with your own 5/8" bolt, etc.). $5 plus shipping cost, its yours. Add another $5 and I'll include 2 brand new belleville washers. Ronko ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- From: "gregsmi@aol.com" Sent: Saturday, May 3, 2014 8:42 AM Subject: [Pulsar-Aviators] Nose gear failure Clarke Coulter just reported his nose gear failed on take off. His landing was uneventful but the plane did sustain damage. His nose gear is the Aerodesigns gear with the spindle shaft welded inside a collar. Since the failure is occurring inside the collar, there is no way to inspect. If you have one of these nose gears you should look on the forum to see what modifications others have done to make this area stronger and easy to inspect. It could save you from having to rebuild your aircraft. __._,_.___ Reply via web post =A2 Reply to sender =A2 Reply to group =A2 Start a New Topic =A2 Messages in this topic (1) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Visit Your Group =A2 Privacy =A2 Unsubscribe =A2 Terms of Use . __,_._,___ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other Matronics Email List Services ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Post A New Message pulsar-list@matronics.com UN/SUBSCRIBE http://www.matronics.com/subscription List FAQ http://www.matronics.com/FAQ/Pulsar-List.htm Web Forum Interface To Lists http://forums.matronics.com Matronics List Wiki http://wiki.matronics.com Full Archive Search Engine http://www.matronics.com/search 7-Day List Browse http://www.matronics.com/browse/pulsar-list Browse Digests http://www.matronics.com/digest/pulsar-list Browse Other Lists http://www.matronics.com/browse Live Online Chat! http://www.matronics.com/chat Archive Downloading http://www.matronics.com/archives Photo Share http://www.matronics.com/photoshare Other Email Lists http://www.matronics.com/emaillists Contributions http://www.matronics.com/contribution ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These Email List Services are sponsored solely by Matronics and through the generous Contributions of its members.
