I=92m replacing the little filler caps and drain plugs and the composite people need to know what layers are in there in order to draw up the plans to get it past the LAA (UK home-builder=92s governing body). I have the manuals but they seem to be for the fuselage tank version. Thanks Scott MacIntyre ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 01:41:58 AM PST US Subject: Pulsar-List: Re: Tank construction details - XP From: "mjb777" What's your email address scott? There is however a cross section diagram illustrating how it is done. Basically the top skin seems to be removed to allow the filler neck sit down flush with the outer skin. There is no evidence of a lamination being applied over that, but that might be wise. Then there is the normal micro fillet around the neck, inside the tank, and glass over that. The whole inside is sealed of course [by the builder] with Jeffco 9700.
