(my kit is #270). I cannot for the life of me determine what or where the "composite extension" is or located on the fuselage. Am I interpreting this incorrectly? Or is this a section that I must install? Thanks for your help in advance! Clyde Oyler Yellowhammer 985-515-5238 -------- J.M. From: "Yellowhammer" Ladies and Gentleman, I wanted to let each of you know that I am going to install the Rotax 582 engine. After carefully studying and reflecting on each of your responses I feel it is of the utmost importance that I stick with the original design plans. Every time someone asks me what type of power plant I plan on installing I tell them the 582 and they cringe. I happen to know that many of you have several hundred, if not more, hours on the 582! I feel that if maintained and operated properly I should get the same results. This decision will allow me to get into the air much faster and of course, log more flight hours. Now, if there is anyone who would like to provide any tips on installation, operation, upkeep, and the lie, please feel free to post your comments. Happy and Safe Flying (Building) to All! James M. I am trying to get inkling of just how reliable the engine is from a Pulsar Builder, Owner, or Pilot's perspective. Thank you ladies and gentleman in advance! From: "Yellowhammer" Greetings, I would like to know if there are any Pulsar's within the state of Louisiana? I reside in a small town called Franklinton. I fly out of Hammond on a very regular basis. Thanks in advance for your responses James M. "Clyde" Oyler Yellowhammer -------- J.M. However, I am building the original Pulsar and I am 42 years old and just love what Mr. Brown designed. So hopefully, within the next year I will have it on the registry! I noticed just last week that there was a Pulsar XP for sale in Texas for $15,000. I'm certain some ole gal or guy will buy it. Safe Skies to All, J.M. "Clyde" Oyler Yellowhammer -------- J.M.
