If anyone has a defective ignition module that they wouldn't mind my attemp t at removing the potting compound and hopefully finding the defective comp onent, you can either send it to me or bring it to the Pulser Reunion if yo u are attending.=C2- If I could get one soon, I should be able to work on it before the gathering.=C2- Please understand, I will do all I can to b e careful with the ignition module (but it is dead already), and although I am optimistic, I can't guarantee the outcome. Luckily had a spare in collection of parts and got engine operating agai n. But wanted to rejuvenate the bad module in case another went bad. The only place that I know of that does it is Carmo Electronics in Netherlands. They have an online form to fill out and mail with the module. By the time all is done, cost of the whole operation is around $300. Much better than b uying a new Rotax module for >$!000. The USPS catches much grief about mail issues. I went to my local one-lady post office and received a price of $14 to ship the module to Netherlands. Went to UPS for a comparison price and was told it would exceed $100. Shipped it by USPS late Tuesday, was received there by Friday and repaired by Monday. Am awaiting return this week. I call that efficient.
