I was in the LA area for business last week. I was in the fun part of my trip when my travels took me to the high desert and we drove through a town called Apple Valley, ( I didn't see any apples). I got to thinking about Rockets and remembered Tom. I asked were the airport was and we drove out to the airport. We inquired if anyone knew a guy named Tom at the dinner and the gal working there said he just left. I went out side flagged down a perfectly restored 25 Model T thinking it was Tom driving but it was one of his friends. He drove me to Toms hangar in his Model T. And there in all its glory sat a real Harmon Rocket. I introduced myself to Tom and we spent the next hour looking over and Hangar flying his Rocket. Turns out he and I beat up on Sadam back in 91 he was in a Weasel and I was in a Prowler. But that's a long time ago already and another story. But just to show you that the rocket list does keep everyone closer together. Tom it was nice to meet you and your Rocket. If you ever get to the Midwest you have a place to stay.
