Mark, that's the info I was looking for.
And, do you finally have those straight, two(four)-screw wheel pant
attachments for sale--you had 'em at your booth in Lakeland, last year.
Yeah! When I die, crash and burn, the newspaper will note that I had
the controls in the proper position. That will make me very
happy--including my ex-wife--she may be able to get some insurance
money out of the thing--which would make her very happy.
There's nothing like getting rid of that damn noisy thing up front,
provided you have one in the rear or a good jet engine (which is
better).

For those of you with the interest, I posted all the wiring diagrams for my F1
Rocket on my web site today. You can get to them off of the F1 Rocket Project
page. You can view them as .PDF files using Adobe Acrobat.
Perhaps you'll find them helpful. I don't have them all there yet as I am still
undecided on my EFIS and avionics packages.
Let me know if you see something that looks like it will let all the smoke out
of the wires!!
Regards,

My Bonnie looked into a gas tank,
The height of its contents to see..
She lit a small match to assist her,
Oh bring back my Bonnie to me.

P.S.: Got some great video of So. Cal RV's fly over, overhead break and taxi
formation of the 10 RV's at APV. on the 17TH. Will make copies and edit out
my shoes when getting Paul Rays attention during still photo opp. WHATA
SHOW.....
See dare, I did make this post RV related, no accidents so there is no need
to re-build.

Subject: | Airflow Performance ram air inlet |
--> Rocket-List message posted by: "Dan Checkoway" <dan@rvproject.com>
I've got an RV-7, 200hp IO-360-A1B6 with have Airflow Performance injection.
I'm using AFP's alternate air duct assembly, and I need to integrate or
fabricate a ram air inlet on my cowl.
I figured I'd post to this list because from what I understand, there are
tons of Rockets out there with AFP injection and ram air inlets of various
forms. Before I go and fabricate an inlet from scratch (intimidating,
because I'm a relative fiberglass newbie), I wanted to pick your brains to
see if anybody has an "off the shelf" ram air inlet that I could adapt to my
cowl.
Here are some photos of the servo, alternate air duct, and the hole I now
have in my cowl:

http://rvproject.com/images/2003/20031218_final_hole_looking_up.jpg
Can anybody recommend a source for an inlet? I've seen both round and
"smile" forms of inlets on Rockets. Is there a preference one way or the
other performance-wise?
Is anybody out there running this same configuration on a Rocket? Albeit
not the smaller 4-cylinder engine, but a Lycoming with horizontal induction
and AFP injection, alternate air duct, ram air inlet, etc.
While I'm on the topic, if anybody has photos of a filtered airbox setup
that draws air from the left front baffle floor, it would be helpful. I'm
planning on using a rectangular K&N filter mounted in the left baffle floor,
and forming a fiberglass airbox that ducts down to the alternate air duct
side inlet.
Thanks in advance,
)_( Dan
