--> Rocket-List message posted by: "Les Johnson" <a300driver@hotmail.com> Folks a little over a year ago and friend of mine passed away. He was a aircraft restorer and builder. One of his last projects was a Harmon Rocket. His wife just let me know that she is now ready to sell. He has the entire kit, wings are in a jig, tail is done. Debbie lives at an airpark in Tx. I know she would give someone a great deal. John also has lots of tools that I'm sure Debbie doesn't need. If anyone would like pics of his project just email me at mailto:a300driver@hotmail.com Thanks, Les Johnson ps I'm building a F1 Rocket, had to go with a QB. --> Rocket-List message posted by: "u2nelson" <u2nelson@prodigy.net> I used Aeroquip AQP hose and reusable end fittings from Summit racing. I found them easy to construct, bullet proof, and look good. I liked being able to measure and cut on the plane as you say. Greg Nelson N144X -----Original Message----- From: owner-rocket-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-rocket-list-server@matronics.com]On Behalf Of Jim Stone Subject: Rocket-List: oil hoses and fuel hoses and fittings --> Rocket-List message posted by: "Jim Stone" <jrstone@insightbb.com> Can anyone recommend a hose and fitting combo that they are happy with for use with the main fuel lines, inverted oil system plumbing, and oil cooler plumbing? I am looking at the Aeroquip AQP hose from Summit racing. It appears to be their best hose and it takes some nice looking all aluminum reusable fittings. Do you think going with reusable ends is the way to go. I figure I will measure and cut each hose to length on site rather than trying to measure and have someone else use crimp on ends. Thanks, Jim
