John
I purchased a RV-4 Wing and tail kit in December of 1996 and took
delivery in early 1997. It is not a Phlogiston spar, just the standard
spar as Van's sell them. The wing skins are not pre-punched. I want to
sell the wing kit and the tail kit together. The reason I am selling
the kits, is because I lost my medical and now am forced to go for the
Sport Pilot program. I am now building a Kitfox for that reason. The
Wing kit has never been opened, still in the crate. The empennage kit
has been started. I have the horizontal stabilizer in the jig, skins
are drilled, not dimpled. The elevators, rudder and vertical fin have
not been started. I am asking $4,000 plus shipping.

I just sold my RV-6 and am ready to start a new project.
Does Team Rocket have a slo-build kit, such as the way Vans does his
kit?
I have e-mailed Team but have not gotten a response.
If they sell a slo-build, how much are the kits?
My RV-6 was a slo-build so I know what is involved in building.
I am also considering the Harmon Rocket. How does Van handle the skin
not
being pre-punched? Does this cost extra?
Thanks for any help that you guys can give me.

We're in Taylor TX, just NE of Austin.
Emp skins are OK (stabs @.032; rudder & elev @ .020); spars are upgraded to
.040. The Evo emp will be stronger yet, due to the higher VNE of that design.
Cheers
Mark

Hi John:
I live in Long Beach, CA and the RV6 is at Compton Airport, the home of
gangster rap....
I don't know if the empennage skins have been upsized. This was the 7th
RV6 finished, back in 1992.

Wayne,
Why waste fuel money on engraving our caps, we are the only ones that
will be filling our tanks and we already know how many gallons it will
take?
$50 bucks is darn near a fill-up. I think I'll spend mine on fuel.
Thanks though.
By the way, please don't solicit our list.
