No problem, I'll take you of right now if you wish.
I think you were missing the point about the engraved fuel caps though. A
lot of people are fed up with the decals that don't stick well and the time
and money to purchase a new set decals and replace them. I just offer the
service and have done more then 125 sets so far. Fifty dollars is not cheap,
but is a fair price for the time and effort we put into the job.
I would like to be able to stay on your list and send an email from time to
time so that your members could learn about some of my services such as:
Engraved placards
Fuel cap engraving
Vinyl N-numbers and signage
Rocker switch engraving
Circuit breaker and panel overlays
I am a small business with myself and one employee working out of by
basement and garage for the past 15 years and can surely use some business
in these very lean times.
Thanks,

Thanks for the heads up Wayne... Sounds good to me. How do we get more
info on the placards and vinyl?

Hi all,
Some time ago I read that some people were installing a taper pin (AN386-2-9A )
to hold the tail spring to the fuse.
Is this still recommended?
Just drilled my #30 pilot hole, and wondering what everyone thinks about this?
Thanks,
Jeff

I don't mind having interesting items posted on the list. I like to know
whats out there so I can plan ahead and make provisions for my plane. I
haven't thought about having the fuel caps engraved and I dont like the
decals either. Although I dont like spam I think the ocassional post from
small bussinesses are ok IMHO.

Gentlemen:
Although realizing this is not a political platform, I feel the need
to comment:
I am also in favor of tidbits such as this, as they are not broad based
advertising, and after all, should we not try to help one another when
possible? We are not obligated to partake of these relevant offerings,
or even read the message if we choose to.
As far as cost on this is concerned, as a machine tool technologies
professor for a number of years, I would say it is a fair price, and
may possibly be negotiable. Try that with a large company.

The tapper pin sure fixed a sloppy tail wheel problem on my installation.
