--> Rocket-List message posted by: "Frazier, Vincent A" <VFrazier@usi.edu> I am overhauling the 540 for my Rocket. The tach shaft was badly grooved so I got a reconditoned one rather than fight the leaks that would have likely occurred. You can get one from Aircraft Specialty Services in Tulsa. 1-800-826-9252. The big question is whether you can install the shaft and new seal without completely disassembling everything aft of the prop. Vince

--> Rocket-List message posted by: "Jim Anglin" <jlanglin44@earthlink.net> That was my main question - how do you replace the seal without removing the accessory case? Guess I'll call my engine shop. I hate to waste their time with that stuff tho'. Thanks for the reply.
