--> Rocket-List message posted by: "Frank Higham" <aerostar@xtra.co.nz> I am a Kiwi rocket builder from New Zealand and my son is in Sacramento at the moment and we are wondering if there are any rocket owners there in that who might be able to give my son a circuit in one. He works for EDS in New Zealand and is in the Sacramento office for 4 weeks .Frank Higham Aerostar Aviation Auckland New Zealand.

--> Rocket-List message posted by: "ACTIVE NZ - Andrew" <andrew@nzactive.com> Frank - I'm on the list, and have been watching but not posting for a long time. I bought Carl Wright's Rocket II, (# 4 I believe!!) and imported it from Camarillo, CA to Queenstown (NZ). This baby ROCKS and I'm flying her all over the place. I recently visited Carl in Ventura, CA, and he's building his 4th aircraft. A '4 this time. Seeing the quality of his workmanship made me feel even more confident about the Rocket. I'd be happy to take you up, either when I make it all the way to Auckland in the Rocket (all of 4 hours :) or if you end up anywhere closer to Queenstown. Feel free to call me - h 03 441 2959, w -03 441 2043. Also, a general question for Rocket-Listers, and sorry if it's been answered, but I haven't found it anywhere, and I've been passively reading the List for a while now - does anyone know where I can find general handling notes for the Rocket? I mean, I'm figuring it out, and currently fly out of a 900 foot short'n'rough paddock in New Zealand, but it'd still be good to get more info on FLYING the Rocket, as opposed to building it. I've read the PiReps, of course, and we all know it's an awesome machine. But stuff like flight test data, appropriate checklists, and all that stuff? Any ideas would be appreciated... Last question for the Rocket-Listers - I would really like rudder pedals in the back. I've got a stick, throttle and so on, but no rudders. Any idea where I should start? Should dual rudders in the Rocket be scratch built, or is there a kit somewhere?
