Has anyone found a source for the AN5812 pitot tube.
Spruce has them for 1200.00, but, this includes the connector of course, so I guess
it's worth it.
A year ago or so they were just 300. WTFO???
I picked one up used for 100 bucks, the salvage guy said it was in great shape
except for some minor surface corrosion.
It was junk. Heavy corrosion, one of the mounting holes had a broken off screw
stuck in it. He charged me 18.00 for COD, which I didn't ask for then it cost
me 8 more to send it back. Only the 100.00 was refunded. I don't recommend
doing business with him.
BTW, his name is Joe Jenkins in Wyoming Delaware.

I just replaced the pitot tube on my Cessna 180, mounting bracket through
the tip plus the heating element and spent half as much as Spruce...try
Yingling for the parts they advertise in Trade-a-Plane....

Try Central Air Parts. About a year ago, I bought one for considerably
