Okay you've heard the rest now heres the Best
I already have one follower Mr Russ
1. Make on your throttle quadrant where your engine idles at 1000 RPM
2. You need to have fuel flow meter for this to work but there could be a
timing in seconds on how to do it also
3. Put throttle & mixture full forward hit booster pump and what for fuel
flow and pressure indication
I like to see about 2-4 GPH flow rate with pressure about 3-10 PSI
about maybe 3-8 seconds depending on conditions ( on that hot day 117F OAT
it took about 30 seconds and a couple of cycle
on the pump because it was pumping air.)
4. Bring throttle back to 1000 RPM mark mixture to ICO
5. Hit start button with hand ready to bring mixture up to full rich when
it starts after (with mine about 6 -10 blades it will fire off. If it
starts and runs that's great but be ready to hit booster pump immediately
if it starts to cough and keep it on till it smooths out.
This is way better than the wide open throttle method which has resulted in
increased sale to Hartzell
propeller company.
Try it Haven't had any unsatisfied customers yet
