You can see the rate is relatively high. This was done close to the forward C of G limit (ie solo without any baggage) and ailerons central. There is a relatively normal amount of buffet throughout, I'll try outside aileron next time to see if it flattens out the spin and makes it smoother. For those who haven't done it yet, the recovery in these conditions is quick and simple. Combined with a good look out front it gives you increased SA , which in my world is worth it's weight in gold. If it helps you, SH! My drift is exactly what you stated, it's a tool to help but doesn't replace a look with the mark 1 eyeball. I wasn't "dissing" your idea, just providing another viewpoint which I hope is the objective of this site... If I was dissing you, you would know it... But an extra view can't hurt and I use it. We had an RV-8 taxi into the back of another one up here a couple years ago. That's what prompted me to spend a few hundred on my system. chump change. Don't be too fast to dis it unless you've tried it. After all, we really don't need GPS either. Get my drift? Thanks for the video. It looked like three and a half turns (approx) in 11 seconds or so to me. That's 4 seconds or so per turn or 90 degrees per second approximately. Pretty fast, I'd say! You look like you're having a lot of fun with your Rocket. Hope you can make Avalon next year, I'd love to see it if you still have it! Regards, Lee...
