After all the camera talk and ideas put forth, and....having about 3000 hours behind
a pretty good video system in the nose of an airplane, I also tried one
out. My neighbor had it gathering dust after their kids outgrew it. Like Vince's
setup this system is very portable and remote, and removable for use in multiple
airplanes. Works great!
It's used for baby's room and is IR if you like night flying (like me). It's
a bit more expensive but works great and has no wires. I taped the remote camera
in my right landing light hole, works great.

For everyone looking for that camera to mount in the
nose......
I found a camera that mounts on a rear license plate of a
car, suv, rv..etc and is wireless to a color screen for
the inside of a vehicle, camera and screen, all for 133
bucks.
I have ordered one of the setups and will get it second
week of october.
I'll let everyone know how decent it works once it gets
here.
If it stinks I'll say, if it works well enough, I'll let
everyone know.

One of the best kept secrets of aviation museums is the U.S. Air Force Museum near
Dayton, OH.
While it is difficult for general aviation aircraft to land at Wright Pat AFB,
Green Co Jackson Regional (I19) is only 15 miles from the museum.
Is there any interest in having a Rocket Fly-In to get together and venture to
the museum?

I have a good friend at the USAF Museum. I'll ask about letting a select group
(like us) land there for a fly-in. They have let experimentals land there for
the Wright Brothers award in the past...
