I'm planning on going to sun and fun this year, the first year with an
airplane and I'm shopping for the best set of tie downs and canopy
covers on the market. Your input is valued and appreciated.
      Thanks,

Jim.... Bruce's Custom Covers in Sunnyvale California makes absolutely
the best canopy covers....... I will look up my tie downs and get back
      to you.

Don't buy titanium tie downs from Randy Simpson/Airtime MFG in Oregon.
They are great lookers, very light but one problem; he takes the money
but never delivers, doesn't answer phone calls nor return
emails....guess you know how I know.

      Jim,

I have a Bruce's cover and it is nice, but too heavy for many trips. I
wish I had a really thin one that just keeps out rain and sun.
Waterproof parachute material or something like that. Don't know if
anyone is making one like that, but I'd probably get one if they did.

I also have the Simpson tie downs and they are really nice IF you can
get them. He's not so good about answering phone/emails.

      Good luck,

      Russ Werner
