The mod was designed by Mark Frederick, and there haven't been any cracks reported since it was issued. I agree with Fred - I have Vince Fraziers tailwheel fork on mine, and it's a big improvement. Ask him about his tail-wheels and bearings, too. Cheers, Ron Graham (F1 #105, Sydney, Oz) ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 05:56:59 AM PST US From: Rob Ray Subject: Re: Rocket-List: Re: A cry for help from NZ! G'day Andrew! Glad you are using your Rocket "off road" as I do. I am running a new stndard Harmon mount with gussets. I use a landing technique I used in my RV4, threepoint approach to a wheels landing stance, rolling on so to speak. Smooth touchdowns result, even with an approach speed of 65 knots, touchdown 58.As I said, I really like the API tw, clears the rocks better than any of them. My buddy russ has a strip north of Auckland, stop by. Let me know if I can help! Fair dinkum, bloody oath!
