Matt Dralle Matronics EMail List and Forum Administrator ________________________________ Message 1 _____________________________________ Time: 07:19:23 AM PST US Subject: Rocket-List: High Engine Temps From: Ernest Hale Wanted to let everyone know that on my Rocket which had been having high CHT's we made one more change that dramatically cooled the engine. I had the compression increased on my engine to 9:1. Someone on the list had mentioned that I should look at my timing and possibly changing it. When we looked at the timing it was set at 25 degrees, we moved it to 20 degrees and it really dropped the CHT's down. Now I am running in the high 300's for the first time that I can recall.
