When I rang the OEM about the flap actuator a few years back Jeff, I was told that Warner Electric Part #S12-17A8-06 had been superseded by Warner Electric Part # M1-D012-0100-A06-LN. Caution - mine is an original and unused so far, so I have had no reason to actually test the above advice. I only collected this data because I was compiling a list of parts in my particular Rocket. Cheers, Stu > On 18 Apr 2016, at 16:53, iiNet <stuart@stuarthutchison.com.au> wrote: > > I did research the flap actuator a few years ago ... the part and part # has changed, but I'll look up what I discovered when I get home from work. > > I'm at stuart@stuarthutchison.com.au <mailto:stuart@stuarthutchison.com.au> if you want talk off-list. > > Kind Regards, Stu > > Sent from my iPhone > > On 18 Apr 2016, at 13:28, Jeff Deuchar <rocketerf1@yahoo.ca <mailto:rocketerf1@yahoo.ca>> wrote: > >> Thanks Stu. >> >> One more question (maybe you can answer); the electric flap unit (the linear on the left side of the fuse), do you know where I can find one of those? >> >> Regards, >> Jeff >> >> >> On Sunday, April 17, 2016 8:22 PM, iiNet <stuart@stuarthutchison.com.au <mailto:stuart@stuarthutchison.com.au>> wrote: >> >> >> They're Newton fuel caps from the UK. Hi Stu, Thanks so much for the information. Mine has around 400 hours on it and it has started to develop a dead spot. =C2- Usually OK as taxi and air vibrations push me past it, but it's not getting any better. Thanks again,Jeff On Monday, April 18, 2016 2:29 AM, Stuart Hutchison <stuart@stuarthutch ison.com.au> wrote: When I rang the OEM about the flap actuator a few years back Jeff, I was t old that Warner Electric Part #S12-17A8-06 had been superseded by Warner El ectric Part # M1-D012-0100-A06-LN. Mark Frederick still had some of them if I'm not mistaken. I recall seeing some in his shop relatively recently. If not, I think I may have one spare set. Contact me via email please.
