To all,
first of all it was an good idea to create this Rotax-list.
Let's start the discussion with one of the an unanswered question from
Rotax.
I have a 914 now ready for installation in my aircraft and searching for an
Intercooler. I am looking since a while for an manufacturer of an IC, but
until now I've got no answer from the companies who are recommended to me
from other 914-owners. Does one of you have an idea where I can get one, and
how are your experience with the engine-performance after installing an IC.
Installation-pictures would be fine as well.
Thank you in advance,
Gottfried Komaier

I intend to install a constant speed prop to my Zodiac XL / Rotax 912ULS.
Does anybody use a constant speed prop? Rospeller has a very nice and not too expensive prop... (www.rospeller-aero.de). Woodcomp RS2000 has not the very best reputation. How is the new RS3000? Anybody using a MT (very expensive though) or Hoffmann Prop?
Cheers
Martin

Very nice plane !
I dont know about constant speed props, but if you are looking for a high performance
and smooth prop look at the Kiev Hot Prop. I have not tried mine yet,
but I have got it :) It supposedly is much smoother and a good performer.

The Stemme Sv10 motor glider uses one you might try
them.
I am wondering if any 914 users has starting problems,
I cant start mine without a jump from another battery,
i replaced the
battery, the starting solenoid and the wires and still
have this
problem, the only thing i havent replaced is the
starter but it seems fine when i start it with a
jumper battery attached and restarts fine in flight
and once in awhile it will start with a battery
charger connected all night, im thinking that maybe
the starter solenoid is taking to much juice to
activate it all.
