I have a 912uls.  Have a pre-heat and float charger.  And am still having trouble
with cold starting this engine.

What battery are you using with this engine?  Any suggestions?

I've been using an Ultrabat 13. Used it with no problems on the 912ul, and now
with the 912uls. Have started the uls
with temps as low as 30 degrees and it spins the engine just as well as at the
warmer temperatures. Plus it's a
pretty small, light weight package.
