Subject: 91X Spark Plug Hole Thread Repair
Has anyone ever had the spark plug hole thread repaired in a 912 or 914
head? What has been your experience? Which is better? Heli-Coil or Timesert?
I know that Rotax recommends replacing heads with spark plug hole thread
damage but at over 1000 USD a head there has to be another solution.
