Does anyone have long term experience using ethanol containing auto gas in a 912?

I took the 20hr Rotax four stroke class in Jan'06 and Eric Tucker (instructor)
pointed out that the manual says up to 5% alcohol is OK. He said that 10% has
not been a problem for the engine, just to be sure that the rest of the fuel system
was compatible with the alcohol.
I've used Chevron Premium in Oregon with alcohol four winter months a year without
problem. I don't get to fly as much during this time of year, but I have used
the fuel without problem for 3 winters.

Roy

It's not so much the alcohol content (subject to fuel system material
compatibility, as you point out) but the water that is absorbed by the
alcohol.
