He said that 10% has not been a problem for the engine, just to be sure that the rest of the fuel system was compatible with the alcohol. I've used Chevron Premium in Oregon with alcohol four winter months a year without problem. I don't get to fly as much during this time of year, but I have used the fuel without problem for 3 winters.
