The Powder Coating that the guy does for me is Guarenteed for 1200 degrees
but he said he can only get it in silver or Black

I regularly see 1450-1470F EGT readings on our 912UL, which is normal for that
engine. 2-stroke Rotaxes normally max out at around 1200F. Fortunately, no current
need for new coating.
