Hi Jack, Your cht should be working and the cht raises quickly. So if it's not working check your connections. Set the idle on your new engine between 1750-1800 rpm. 140F on the oil temp at idle is probably about right. You should see 120F or above before take off. 266F cht temp. is max for the 912uls. Each engine differs some and so does each person's gages. Hopefully your oil temp. will be between 190F-230F when you are at cruise rpm. Cruise rpm should be between 4800-5200 rpm. This is it's best torque and the engine should run cooler. -------- Roger Lee Tucson, Az. Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=119868#119868

That does not make any sense at all. That is very close to the reading you would get with a completely cold engine. Something wrong in your readings, or in your reporting of temperatures. A CHT 100 degrees for a running engine is impossible. Mike -------- "NO FEAR" - If you have no fear you did not go as fast as you could have !!!
