    Many ultralight and ELSA have had translucent fuel tanks for up to 20 years. I agree with Rob, I think it was meant as not to let your fuel set in the sun. Other than that I have never heard of anyone having an issue. They still sell a lot of these style fuel tanks. Kolb aircraft has used them for years. -------- Roger Lee Tucson, Az.
