However, when I come to attach sensors and mate them to the unit, I run into all sorts of anomalies. Maybe it's me. For one thing, I bristle at the use of "support" (a computer term supposedly meaning it complies with the sensor's needs). The unit is forever 'supporting' one device or another without actually telling me what it's reading. The measurement or sensitivity to current, voltage or resistance is a difficult thing to divine from the text. If you have some insight into what the manual is saying, I'd be excited to know what it is. For instance, the column which purports to provide a sensor for Manifold pressure for the Rotax suddenly only "supports" the 912 but the package it comes in says "Engine - Lycoming", and does not say where the device is attached to the engine. Am I to presume I stick it to the tube between the carbs, and how do I do this? On another tack, instead of just attaching a wire to the Cylinder heads per the Rotax manual, one must first duplicate a single 5v power wire for two/three or more devices, and then proceed to attach applicable sensors. I understand several of the service agencies which sell Rotax over this side are playing with the same EMS-D10 but are not saying much about it. This is just a suggestion that: [a] one question the sales force fairly specifically as to what 'support' means for each sensor need - per your particular engine and, [b] if you have successfully overcome these small plateaux, please let me know how................... I beg you.
