I purchased a Kitfox with a 912A engine. What are the differences in the 912A
and other 912 engines? In what ways is the 912A better or not as good?[/b]

According to my Rotax owners manual, the 912A is the certified version of
the 80hp version. Other than that it looks like everything else is the sam
e as the 912ul----of course someone paid a lot more for it.
Now that it has been put on an experimental plane it is no longer certified
for use in a GA plane but who cares.
Looks like you got a good engine.
Make sure you go to the Rotax owners site to check for all the service bull
etins and insure you have them installed.
