Hi Roger,
that's what I thought as well. Engine run rough at high RPMs. Took me months
to find. Once I set the choke cable, everything was fine again. STill don't
know why, but the choke was definetly the culprit.

Hi Thilo,
Good advice at rpm's below 3500. The enricher does not play a part though
above 3500rpm. Certainly not above 4000. If it ran rough below 3500 then the
enricher could be the culprit, but then it should smooth out at cruise rpm.

I just installed a "spin-on" oil filter kit on a new CubCrafter Sport Cub w O-200
IAW their required Service Instructions.
They included the filter to be used..... a small K&N.
Sorry I don't have the PN handy, but it was the same size as the little Rotax filter
I have on my 912UL.
I will get the PN if anyone is interested. I have no idea at this time what thread
size it was, etc... Just that it was a K&N product. It had the hex end for
a wrench, and was drilled for safety wiring.

It is a good chance the K&N filter is a hp-1002. I use this filter on my
O-290 which has a spin on oil filter kit.

Checked the choke Roger, good idea but no cigar! The chokes were set
right... So I'm back to square 1.
I have an engine mechanic coming Wednesday.
