Hi "miami_guy" Download Maintenance Manual 912 Series (Line Maintenance) : http://www.rotax-aircraft-engines.com/a_searchdoc.aspx Read 5.2 Oil change and you will read "Draining suction line, cooler........must be avoided". If the oiltank has been open and cleaned you may have allowed air in the system and need "purg" or prime the system with pressure. Have to dash. My Europa XS/912S is waiting....... I would have the engine striped and inspected and send the bill to the A&P.
