Jim,
The data for resistance versus temperature is available at
www.sso-usa.com
You'll have to look thru the website to find it. You will also find a chart that
lists the number stamped on the sensor and gives the part number, its temp
range and threads.
912 & 914 come with VDO 300 deg sensors.
300 deg sensors vary from 322 to 18 ohms. 120 deg F is 322 ohms. 200 deg F is
76 ohms and 220 deg is is 57 ohms. Measure what the resistance is at room temp
- should be 322 or more. Put the sensor in boiling water - should be between
57 & 76, close to 65 ohms.
