Great Stuff Guy, Were the bolts too long? The other clue I should have twigged to was the torque difference between loose and too tight was too few turns, indicating I was tightening on something with no give., ie the end of bolt threads. Live and learn. Thanks for letting me know! You made my day. Regards Geoff Bell

I have problem with spring wear on the exhaust on my S-7. I have worn through three springs and the stainless steel spring tabs on the manifold are starting to get a groove in them. Anybody know of any fixes for this? Thanks all. Rich Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=188452#188452

This helps a lot with damping the vibration. Guy Buchanan San Diego, CA K-IV 1200 / 582-C / Warp / 100% done, thanks mostly to Bob Ducar.

Mine run 150-170 depending on time of year. Today, ambient was 70 F and w ater temp was 165 F George May 601XL 912s axEngines-List: average water temp of 912/914To: rotaxengines-list@matronic s.com Somewhere I miss what the average operating water (coolant) temp is on the 912/914. Yes, the manual and things I read gives lowest start temp, hot sta rt temp and max temp. But I would really like an average. 180f, 190f, 200f ??? Or would just say 180f to 220f is a good number to keep it in?
