I noticed today that the the heating pad on the engine block came unstuck. When I installed it=2C it came with some adhesive that looked like gray silicon. Does anyone happen to know what type of adhesive is used for this ? Thanks=2C Paul _________________________________________________________________ Stay up to date on your PC=2C the Web=2C and your mobile phone with Windows Live. ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 06:16:58 PM PST US Subject: RotaxEngines-List: RE: Adhesive Question From: ruruny@aol.com >From the link to the?picture Craig sent in, that red and white tube looks like it says JB weld. This air screw changes the air/fuel mixture by changing the ratio of air to the idle jet circuit. Turning the screw out with lean the mixture while turning it in richens it. After referring to the jet chart you have a position to start from. With the engine warmed up and idling and the screw set to factory specs turn the screw out very slowly - the engine should start to pick up rpm as you lean the mixture out. If nothing happens the low speed jet is probably plugged, or the small atomizer hole located in the throat of the carb on the engine side is blocked. Once you have the engine idling at its highest and leanest setting using the air screw turn the screw back in 1/8 of a turn which will richen it up just enough for the best performance. Note it is usually necessary to do this three or four times a year, do to the difference in air that you get in spring/summer/fall/winter. -------- Cristal Waters Kolb Mark II Twinstar Rotax 503 DCSI Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p 8468#208468 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other Matronics Email List Services ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Post A New Message rotaxengines-list@matronics.com UN/SUBSCRIBE http://www.matronics.com/subscription List FAQ http://www.matronics.com/FAQ/RotaxEngines-List.htm Web Forum Interface To Lists http://forums.matronics.com Matronics List Wiki http://wiki.matronics.com Full Archive Search Engine http://www.matronics.com/search 7-Day List Browse http://www.matronics.com/browse/rotaxengines-list Browse Digests http://www.matronics.com/digest/rotaxengines-list Browse Other Lists http://www.matronics.com/browse Live Online Chat! http://www.matronics.com/chat Archive Downloading http://www.matronics.com/archives Photo Share http://www.matronics.com/photoshare Other Email Lists http://www.matronics.com/emaillists Contributions http://www.matronics.com/contribution ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These Email List Services are sponsored solely by Matronics and through the generous Contributions of its members.
