I purchased the TG3614 and it is about 3/8" too long to fit in my 914. Are the Pure and Mobil 1 the same length? It looks like I am going to have to pay the ridiculous Rotax prices for their filters. Thanks for the info. -------- Darin Hawkes Series 7 (Phase 1 - Flight Testing) 914 Turbo Kaysville, Utah Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=211184#211184 ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 10:34:47 AM PST US From: "Pete Christensen" Subject: Re: RotaxEngines-List: Re: Rotax Oil Filter STP and NAPA will fit ----- Original Message ----- From: "darinh" Sent: Thursday, October 30, 2008 9:26 AM Subject: RotaxEngines-List: Re: Rotax Oil Filter > > Anyone know the dimensions on these filters (Pure, Mobil 1)? There is a procedure for testing this with weighing scales on the prop and locking the crankshaft with a test plug. Friend's 912 wouldn't start until the dogs were replaced.
