But Roger, What about that notice from Rotax that ONLY genuine Rotax parts are to be used on Rotax aircraft? I am sure Rotax notified you of this fact too. Lockwood was selling their Rotax oil filters for around $18. I tried to check on line for you but their web site has been down for about 100 years. You might give them a call. Last time I looked in print ads they were the cheapest. Dick Maddux Kitfox 4-1200 Rotax 912 UL Pensacola,Fl **************Need a job? Find employment help in your area. The software to read the TCU is available generally to the service centers only. If you have the latest version all you need is the software but earlier ones need a special cable to connect. From memory the software is V4.6a . Kev -------- Austria ............. Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=233846#233846

So does anyone know of a non-rotax filter that works (clears the exhaust) on the 914?
