I am at the point where I have to disconnect the electrical connectors to slip the ring mount on. My problem: I have a two mag kill switch wires already installed in the connector. These wires are preventing me from separating the two connectors. Is there a tool or shortcut way to remove the wire from the connector? I hope I'm making myself clear. Start with a variable dc power supply at a couple volts. Watch the amps and work up to full voltage rating. As I recall it takes 5 minutes plus 1 minute for every month the cap has set. My Kitfox III did not have a capacitor on it and the rectifier regulator lasted 400+ hours. I have not actually fired up the new cap but will do the refresh before I do.
