Subject: | Tanis engine preheat systems |
Hi All,
I have 2 Tanis engine preheat systems to install this week and one in a couple
more weeks. I will report back on install and I will try and get the owners to
let us know how it works for them here on the forum. I talked to one of the company
owners last week. Looks like a really worth while system for those of you
that live in cold, shivering, frostbite country. [Wink]

I saw the tanis system and I thought it was a lot of money. I used 3 50watt
heat pads. One on the oil tank and 2 on the block. It works great and cost
only 50 bucks. My engine oil is at 120 when I start the engine. Here is the
link to the pads.

Anyone can email me for pictures.
Matt

Hi Guys,
Before you think you have done a good preheat job read this article.
Just warming oil does not preheat a system. Metal parts expand at different rates.
There are a couple of factors.
