f these 914's have been military surplus. It is what is used in the Predato
r aircraft. If I bought a used 914 it would help to get a history on the en
gine. =0AIf it has had a long life of 100LL then it probably needs a valve
job and have the seats reamed. You can not do a valve job like a car. The v
alves are armored. (too hard). Valves need replacement, the seats can be re
-worked.=0AHave you done a compression test. This may tell a more complete
story.=0A=0AAll this said this can be hard to diagnose over email.=0A=0A---
