I had a Rotax for six years and never was notified about any changes etc. It was up to me to search them out. And even then the SD were essentialy worthless as saying this is an issues to bring it to a repairman. That was a bit too sketchy for me so I sold my Rotax this last year. I have had a Jabiru for the past three yeass. I get the SD mailed to me and they are very complete with schematics and instructions either for me or for the repairman required to do the work. I dont understand why there is a difference. I guess I am used to the careful documentation required of the GA aircraft. I just could not deal with the sketchy info anymore. Enlighten me guys. Not trying to bash Rotax, just want to understand their practices.
