The TCU will open the wastegate when it needs to be opened and close it when it doesn't - I cannot see it will affect fuel flow significantly to jam it open when MAP is the important factor, not wastegate position. I know pressurizing intake will create more power, but when operating like a normal aspirated 912, in terms of efficency, are you better off leaving wastegate closed? Opened? or perhaps makes no matter? Thx.
