Course, my procedure when the CHT's start going up for no reason in flight is to land ASAP, but I'm just curious about this in case I have to stretch the glide (and for how much it'll cost me if I and the plane survive the landing)... The bottom line is you can fly the plane to the nearest airport without risking your skin or your airplane in an off field landing. -----Original Message----- From: owner-rotaxengines-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-rotaxengines-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of Craig Payne Sent: Sunday, June 13, 2010 11:52 AM Subject: RE: RotaxEngines-List: Re: CHT Temps "Somewhere" I read that you could operate at 50% power with no coolant. -- Craig -----Original Message----- From: owner-rotaxengines-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-rotaxengines-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of lucien Sent: Sunday, June 13, 2010 7:09 AM Subject: RotaxEngines-List: Re: CHT Temps --> m.tucciarone(at)hotmail.c wrote: > That was good you got the air out.
