Subject: 912ULS prop strike
Without going into details I took the Sensenish ground adjustable
composite prop off the 912uls today, that is a stall accident did it,
and the prop is in pieces, at least the pieces we could find in the
grass.
What to do? Tear down the engine and gear box?
Roger Lee, Sir, could you make a recommendation? What kind of turn
around time would a person be looking at for this, and what would you
guess the probably outcome on the crank shaft would be, that is, OK, or
junk after the strike at full power.
