Drain off the water as you would when found in 100LL. Rationale: If there was just enough water in the E-10 that the ethanol would absorb it all and no more (ethanol saturated with water), then you would not know it, and as you said the Rotax will handle it with no problem. How is this different from draining off the excess water that is not absorbed by the ethanol? No difference at all. None. Nada. -------- Thom Riddle Buffalo, NY (9G0) Kolb Slingshot SS-021 Jabiru 2200A #1574 Tennessee Prop 64x32 Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts. It can save you money down the line. Well from looking through what it looks like you're supposed to do in the heavy maint. manual, it looks like the 200 hr check is everything in a rebuild except explicitly replacing the rubbers (i.e. the diaphragm and the float needle... Otherwise, the 200hr and the total rebuilds look almost the same to me ? As for who can do the work (on an SLSA) my guess is you need the maintenance rating (i.e. what you get after the 120 hour class) to do either one? And speaking of that, everything from the intake manifolds forward is being zoned on my engine right now. New boots, O-rings and total rebuild on both carbys. And I tell you what, after all this, I'm wanting to go to Rotax school more and more every day... ;) LS -------- LS Titan II SS Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=311374#311374 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other Matronics Email List Services ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Post A New Message rotaxengines-list@matronics.com UN/SUBSCRIBE http://www.matronics.com/subscription List FAQ http://www.matronics.com/FAQ/RotaxEngines-List.htm Web Forum Interface To Lists http://forums.matronics.com Matronics List Wiki http://wiki.matronics.com Full Archive Search Engine http://www.matronics.com/search 7-Day List Browse http://www.matronics.com/browse/rotaxengines-list Browse Digests http://www.matronics.com/digest/rotaxengines-list Browse Other Lists http://www.matronics.com/browse Live Online Chat! http://www.matronics.com/chat Archive Downloading http://www.matronics.com/archives Photo Share http://www.matronics.com/photoshare Other Email Lists http://www.matronics.com/emaillists Contributions http://www.matronics.com/contribution ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These Email List Services are sponsored solely by Matronics and through the generous Contributions of its members.
