I am going to be away for about three weeks and feel that I need to drain all the fuel from my Rotax 912 engine while I am gone. What is the best way to do this? Drain the tank, and then start the engine and let it run out of fuel, or do something else? Hugh McKay Rotax 912 UL Allegro 2000

Hi Hugh, If it is really only 3 weeks I wouldn't worry. If it is a month or more then better to drain. You should be fine for 3 weeks. Shoot I bet we could even find a pilot or two that would be happy to fly your plane around while your gone. You know just as a favor type thing. [Laughing] [Laughing] -------- Roger Lee Tucson, Az. Don't fuel stabilizers work? Is so, how long?
