I've stored fuel over an entire winter with no ill effects by adding Sta-Bil per
instructions on bottle. Fuel will definitely degrade over that long a period
without stabilization. If you do this, be sure to run the engine for a few minutes
so that the entire fuel system will have the Sta-Bil laced fuel. It is best
to add the stabilizer while the fuel is fresh. It will not rejuvenate already
degraded fuel.

You can as Rick suggested add a stabilizer or add some 100LL, both will help.
