Pennzoil 2-stroke is still available, but is in smaller bottles. Last time I
bought some was from these folks.

I have a problem.
Ordered a new pump from Leading edge and found the new one stands 1/2"
taller than the previous one. Thus it won't fit under the cowl. Is there
another pump?
The original was from 2001 on my 912s and started leaking fuel out the
holes in the back of the pump as I burped the engine. The fuel was shut
off at tanks, so it was just the clearing the fuel in the lines. Has
anyone seen a pump do this? Did I damage the pump by pumping against the
shut off fuel system?
Thanks... Ralph

Subject: | coolant leak 582 |
My newly serviced 582 has a coolant leak and I'm looking for input. The
leak comes out right at the drain port for the water pump, but does not
appear to come through the drain. I'm having a hard time to locate it
exactly. It's a fairly large leak and should be easier to pin down but
the number of surfaces coming together at this point is hampering my
ability to see clearly.
In this image you are looking at a screen capture of the top case, there
is no corresponding hole in the bottom case. I have checked the
crankcases and the oil from the cross-shaft compartment and found no
coolant.
I'm hoping the water pump cover is leaking but I'm curious about the
hole indicated, which also comes out in the same area. Is this hole
connected in any way to the water jacket? Is the any source of coolant
here except the cover leaking on the water pump?
Any experiance you can share will be helpful as I am not keen to split
the case looking for this leak.
