Just the facts boys,
The corn and refiners lobby are the ones who petitioned the EPA
for the E15 mandate. They are quite happy to pay either side
to get their way. In fact they have indeed been paying off Congress
for years to make this happen. The MTBE fiasco was just a good
cover to allow corn ethanol to pass.

93 octane gasoline is a mixture of many things including fuel stocks
and additives. Some of those additives are required to boost the
octane so our engines don't detonate.
How much of any of these chemicals are being fractionated out of the
fuel along with the ethanol and water?
I think I will take my chances with E15 if that's the choice.
I know what I built my fuel system with and it all tolerates alcohol
