Hi,

Thanks for the replies.  

I've had a think and it makes sense to hold on and save the money at this point.
I reckon laying a Rotax up for a year or two would probably be ok but I think
I could possibly take a while longer to complete my build...!

One thing I've thought about doing was converting the engine fund to Euros. That
is, if I actually _had_ any money, and knew that a new or rebuilt 912 was definitely
in the near future, setting it aside in Euros would mitigate the exchange
range risk of the ever tumbling US dollar. Tho of course you'd still be subject
to the Rotax price increase risk, you have that risk anyway. 

So since you're definitely going to buy one, that might be something to consider,
tho I havn't looked at the exchange rate lately (might not be a good deal yet).
